Outlining The Experience

The sole commitment to our clients is to enhance their financial lives and enrich their legacies.  This means helping you to organize and deploy your money in ways that support your family mission.  We provide the advantages and synergies of a full service financial firm – everything from financial advice and estate planning to guidance with investments, insurance, taxes, real-estate holdings, charitable endeavors, and multi-generational wealth transfer.

We understand it takes time, energy and stress to move financial accounts and trusted relationships.  Our Fast Forward program was designed with that in mind.  We offer an easy way for individuals and families to evaluate their current and future financial needs when compared to their objectives, values, and expectations.  With years of experience serving households of diverse needs and resources, our services can address every aspect of your financial situation.  We help individuals, families, and business owners develop and implement suitable, long-term financial strategies that are highly tailored to their needs.

LEARN | Organizing the backstory.

You have a lot of financial accounts: bank accounts, investment accounts, retirement accounts, health savings accounts… the list can go on and on. You also have credit cards, mortgages, student loans, insurance policies, employer benefits — and that doesn’t even get into whether or not you have the estate plan you need, college savings for your kids, and more. That’s a lot of financial stuff, and it’s easy to lose track of exactly what everything is, where these accounts are, and why you have them.

Knowing what you own is the first step in establishing a financial foundation. We’ll take a look at what you have ( or don’t have) to understand your current financial picture. This allows us to evaluate where we need to make adjustments in order to achieve what you want with your money.

SHOW | Seeing the future.

Once we’ve taken inventory of what you have and where it is, we’ll show you what it can look like down the road.   You’ll be able to see how well your current financial habits and existing accounts match up with your long term financial priorities.  We’ll discuss your thoughts on what areas of your finances you feel like you’re handling well, and which areas you would like to have more control over.

Next, we’ll explore ideas on how to improve financial security and better work towards financial freedom.  We’ll evaluate opportunities for doing more with your money, as well as identifying potential threats and what type of risks they pose to your wealth.  You’ll not only know what lies ahead, but you’ll also understand your options to write a better future.

GUIDE | Vision for change.

Here’s where we’ll outline specific steps you can take to help get your money and your values more aligned. We’ll look at all the options available to you, then recommend the set that are in your best interests.  In this meeting, we’ll address items like how best to stay organized and in control of your finances, developing a realistic spending plan, pursuing a disciplined savings program, investing in a strategy that makes sense to you, predicting future cash flow needs, and different ways to tackle debts.

We will also evaluate what adjustments you need to make in other areas of your financial life to set you up for continued success.

ACT | Making the change.

You now have an entire financial foundation and a fully-formed system.  We’ll explore various tools and solutions that you can use to help accelerate your progress to maximizing security, freedom, and impact – including financial savvy ways to use different accounts and asset classes.  This is where we get to flip the “ON” switch and start implementing your financial plan. Together, we’ll take actions that include:

  • Setting up automatic contributions and transfers
  • Opening the right accounts and closing others
  • Reallocating and optimizing investments
  • Updating or modifying insurance policies
  • Providing guidance when you have questions or run into obstacles
  • Plugging into a pre-vetted network of CPAs, attorneys, mortgage brokers, and other experts

At this stage, it’s critical that you continue to make progress and you’ll have an accountability partner and sounding board by your side to help you stay focused.

REFLECT | Building on progress.

If there’s one thing we can guarantee, it’s that life changes. Financial advice should evolve and change, too.  We’ll periodically review and adjust your strategy so that it remains in line with your current views about the present and the future.  At least annually, we’ll get together and revisit what we’ve done over the course of the year, and what you hope to accomplish in the following one.

Whether something unexpected happens or you simply change your priorities, we want to ensure the actions you take always move you forward.
